Katie Pope

Katie brings a decade of experience working on houses along the east coast from Martha’s Vineyard to the Florida Keys. She is greatly inspired by works of Thomas Jefferson and was fortunate to receive her masters degree in architecture at University of Virginia where she also received a certificate in Historic Preservation. Katie also draws inspiration from her trips around the world from the winelands of South Africa to the traditional teahouses of Tokyo to the black and white houses of Singapore. Katie has enjoyed her involvement in the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art and all the wonderful people met through the organization. She has previously served on the Board of the ICAA Washington Mid-Atlantic Chapter and on a variety of Committees of the ICAA Southeast Chapter. While in DC, Katie co-founded a group of young classicists called the L’Enfants who would meet regularly for sketching around the city. Katie spends her free time working on endless projects around her house, a 1920’s Philip Shutze designed Pennsylvania Dutch Georgian-inspired house. Katie and her husband Kevin share a passion for beauty in nature, food, wine, and laughs with friends and family. Katie’s days are filled with the joy and privilege that it is to raise her three young children – Mary Katherine, Charles, and Callahan. Creating beautiful spaces for her clients brings her immeasurable happiness. Katie can be reached in our Atlanta office.
