Allison Ford
Born and raised in Virginia, Allison fostered an early love of architecture leading her to study at Virginia Tech. While completing her Bachelor of Architecture degree, she played an integral role in the design and construction of Lumenhaus, a project that received many accolades including the AIA Honor Award for Architecture. She began her professional career in Virginia before moving to her husband’s home state of Louisiana, where she received her architectural license and developed a passion for designing custom homes. She and her husband then relocated to Nashville where they welcomed a daughter, and she found her home at McALPINE. She relishes time with family spent outdoors or gathered around a lively kitchen, and when she can steal away enjoys quilting, crafting, and listening to Americana music.
