Sam Tonkovich
Sam is a native of Fairmont, West Virginia and graduated from Fairmont State University with a bachelor’s in architecture. While there, he was fortunate to be able to study abroad in London. During his four years of undergraduate studies, Sam worked in commercial architecture, however, he took on every residential side project he could knowing that is where his focus was to be. Sam went on to pursue a Master of Architecture from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, the horse and bourbon capital – neither of which deterred him from achieving a 4.0 GPA and induction into Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society in Architecture and Allied Arts. Since 3rd grade, he has wanted to design houses and be an architect with McALPINE being pinned as his dream job – a dream now fulfilled. Sam confesses to collecting too many coffee tables books, stalking houses on Zillow, vintage boats and cars, and enjoying a good bourbon on the rocks. He enjoys spending quality time with friends and family at his family river house in his hometown. Sam can be reached in our Nashville office.
