Although originally hailing from North Carolina, Hanna has been a resident of New York since 2007 and considers the city home. She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from the New York School of Interior Design, during which she interned with the New York design firm, Carrier & Company. While working toward her MFA, Hanna also earned the Certificate in Classical Architecture from the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, where she honed her skillset of Beaux-Arts rendering and hand drafting. Immediately following her studies, Hanna joined McALPINE and considers it one of the best decisions she’s ever made.
Hanna is committed to being involved in the local community, volunteering with multiple organizations including The Winter Show, Sir John Soane’s Museum Foundation, Holiday House, and the Save Ellis Island Foundation. In her spare time, Hanna can be found exploring music venues and seeing local bands, attending gallery openings, riding horses in Upstate New York, and hosting friends at her home in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Hanna can be reached at our New York office.
